Cambridge English Exams Sample Tests
Sample tests give you a taste of the questions and tasks that your real exam will be made up of. They’re the same length and format as real exams and come with answer keys, so you can see where your strengths are and what you need to work on. Preparation is key.
Whichever format you choose, Digital or Paper-Based, being familiar with the format and knowing what is expected will boost your confidence, help with time management and, in general, help you feel more relaxed on your exam day.
Before we start, let's have a look at some of the main differences between Cambridge English Qualifications Digital sample tests and the live exam. There are no differences for the paper-based version.
• In the sample tests, there is a ‘start over’ button on the final page. This will delete all your answers in the test. This button will not be present in the live exam.
• The highlighting will not save in the sample test, and the notes are not functional. These will work in the live exam.
• In the live exam, when there are 5 minutes remaining, the time switches from showing only minutes to showing minutes and seconds and the background will change colour.
• The digital sample test does not mark your exam, so check your answers as you do the test using the answer keys. Once the test has finished you will not be able to check them.
Now the boring stuff has been covered, let's get to it! Select your exam and access the sample tests:
